Task 2 -Some pilots decide to fly anyway

Hoy subimos al despegue a las 11h. Techo bajo y alguna racha de viento norte moderado. La organizacion decide por un recorrido de 42.8km con balizas en el valle de Piedrahita. A las 14.10, 5 minutos antes de abrirse la ventana, suspienden la manga. Habra’ re-briefing a la 18.00. Muchos pilotos volaron por libre con condiciones que parecian bastante buenas…Seguiremos informando. Ya podeis ver algunas fotos aqui.

Today we went up to take off at 11h. Low cloud-base and some strong gusts of cold wind from the north. They set a task of 42.8km with 5 waypoints in the valley of Piedrahita. At 14.10 just 5 minutes before the window was due to open, they decide to hold the task. We have a new briefing at 18.00h to see if we can run a quick task in the late evening. Some pilots flew anyway with conditions which looked flyable and quite good. More info soon. Pictures here.
